I've realized something. It is really easy to see that I have two separate series. Half-Elf Chronicles which is more geared as a sword and sorcery fantasy series and Saints of Wura which has a much more epic fantasy feel. But did you know you can read both and stay within the same fantasy world?
If you did not know, these books are very much related with even a few crossover characters! Though, in some ways, reading Saints of Wura might give away some plot lines of Half-Elf Chronicles, I feel this irrelevant and small enough to not given an official "read this book first" statement. Saints of Wura is set a few hundred years in the future and can be enriched by reading Half-Elf Chronicles. As far as for Half-Elf Chronicles, I do have some foreshadowing and even a few snide remarks that one can find ironic if they've read Saints of Wura, but overall, you will see tons of new stuff and places. So to summarize, fans of the one series should like the other series. If you liked one book, I think you will like the other ones, so check them both out! :) |
